Echo & Salt was born in Thirroul, NSW in 2017, where a run of local band nights grew into something bigger, a way of shaping culture through music. From those early shows, the agency built a reputation for curating original live music across the Northern Illawarra, programming iconic nights and giving venues a fresh identity through music. It all began with a simple idea: live music builds community.

As artists ourselves, we understand the challenges and opportunities performers face, and we set out to create something that puts artists first while helping venues thrive. At its heart, Echo & Salt is about bringing people together, giving artists a platform, and making live music the centrepiece of a vibrant, connected costal culture.

Since our beginnings, we’ve expanded across the Illawarra, South Coast and Western Sydney, programming calendars for pubs, clubs, and boutique venues, promoting standout events, and collaborating with venues and private functions alike. Alongside our roots in original music, we’re also recognised for representing some of the region’s most talented cover artists, soloists, duos, and DJs. We strategically program and place artists to suit each venue’s atmosphere and audience, ensuring the entertainment feels authentic and adds real value to the space.
